📚 Director of Tutoring & Educational Services

Responsibilities

The Director of Tutoring & Educational Services will:

• 🎓 Lead our tutoring subsidiary, which encompasses BS/MD coaching, standardized‑test preparation, college admissions advising and the pre‑med research operations program.

• 📚 Design curricula and mentorship structures that support students from high school through medical school applications; coordinate research internships, clinical shadowing, volunteer opportunities and portfolio‑building projects.

• 🧑‍🏫 Hire, train and supervise a diverse team of tutors, advisors and research mentors; establish quality standards and monitor student progress through assessments and feedback loops.

• 🤝 Develop partnerships with high schools, colleges and medical programs to expand recruitment and align curricula with admissions requirements.

• 🧪 Collaborate with healthcare consulting and ASCP teams to incorporate laboratory exposure, professional development workshops and ethical research practices into tutoring offerings.

• 💸 Manage program budgets, revenue models and scholarship opportunities to ensure accessibility for students from varied backgrounds.

Qualifications

You should possess:

• ✅ Master’s degree (or higher) in education, biomedical sciences, public health or a related field.

• 🗓️ 5+ years of experience managing tutoring, mentoring or academic preparation programs; familiarity with BS/MD pathways and pre‑health advising.

• 🧠 Demonstrated ability to design curricula, develop mentorship programs and manage team performance.

• 🤗 Strong organizational and interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively with students, parents, faculty and community partners.

• 💼 Experience with program budgeting, marketing and revenue models.
