🧪 ASCP Certification Program Director & Laboratory Education Consultant
Responsibilities
As leader of our ASCP programs, you will:
🧪 Oversee our ASCP certification mentorship program, which offers preparation pathways for technicians, specialists, technologists and executives. Programs combine hospital‑level education, executive mentorship and flexible income‑share payment options.
📜 Develop and update curricula for courses such as Histotechnician (HT), Medical Laboratory Assistant (MLA), Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT), Phlebotomy Technician (PBT), specialist credentials (SBB, SC, SCT, SCYM, SH, SM, MB), technologist/scientist credentials (BB, C, CG, CT, H, HTL, M, MB, MLS) and advanced programs like Diplomate in Laboratory Management (DLM) and Pathologists’ Assistant (PA). Each course should include practical workshops, virtual labs, live mentorship, quality‑control standards and rigorous exam preparation.
👥 Recruit, onboard and manage ASCP‑DLM‑certified mentors and partner with hospitals, research institutes and teaching labs to provide hands‑on training and clinical exposure.
💰 Monitor tuition rates, administer income‑share agreements and ensure shariah‑compliant, transparent payment structures. Stay abreast of ASCP exam updates and national salary data to adjust program offerings accordingly.
🌍 Promote the program through webinars, information sessions and partnerships with universities and community organizations; support graduates with career placement assistance.
Qualifications
We seek candidates who bring:
✅ Active ASCP certification at the DLM, MLS or specialist level. Experience managing clinical laboratories, residency programs or educational institutions is highly desirable.
🧑🏫 5+ years of teaching, curriculum development and mentorship experience in medical laboratory science.
📊 Deep understanding of ASCP certification pathways, laboratory accreditation requirements and healthcare quality standards.
🧠 Strong leadership, communication and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple programs and stakeholders simultaneously.
🌱 Commitment to ethical education models and equitable access to certification.
