📈 Data & Analytics Consultant / Healthcare Data Specialist
Responsibilities
As our analytics expert, you will:
📊 Design and implement data stewardship, governance and analytics programs that convert raw data into revenue, cost savings and operational insights for clients in healthcare, education and research.
📉 Build dashboards, scorecards and reporting tools that improve executive decision‑making and reduce reporting errors; collaborate with stakeholders to define metrics and performance indicators.
🧰 Develop and optimize data pipelines using SQL, ETL tools and cloud‑based platforms; conduct metrics and benefits analyses to demonstrate ROI on data initiatives.
🛡️ Advise clients on data architecture, security and compliance with healthcare standards (HIPAA, HL7) and ensure ethical handling of sensitive data.
👩💻 Provide training and mentorship to internal staff and clients on analytics tools (SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Python), CRM systems and EHR platforms (Salesforce, ServiceNow, EPIC, Cerner).
✍️ Support proposal development by contributing data expertise to statements of work and assisting in scoping analytics engagements.
Qualifications
We’d love to see:
✅ Bachelor’s or master’s degree in data science, statistics, information systems, health informatics or a related field.
📅 5+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence or healthcare IT; experience with ETL, data modeling and visualization.
💻 Proficiency with analytics platforms such as SQL, Power BI, Tableau and Python and familiarity with healthcare data standards, interoperability protocols and privacy regulations.
🧠 Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills; ability to translate technical findings into actionable business recommendations.
🗣️ Excellent communication skills and ability to work with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
